Hi everyone,

Yesterday I was listening to one of the Abraham/Hicks broadcasts on Hay House Radio (if you don't know about Hay House Radio, it is fantastic. google it now!) and I heard the funniest thing. This is really badly paraphrased so if you want the true conversation look for the broadcast on the subject 'Ask and It is Given - emotional energy'.

A man in the audience was asking about the power of creation and why we are here to keep creating, why do we keep coming back to having difficulties and having to learn, and Abraham said 'if you want to know why we are here where there is contrast, difficulties etc, rather than remain in Source, where things are perfect all the time and everyone is happy, do this. Do this exercise, it's fantastic and will teach you everything you need to know.

Get lots of lumps of differently, fantastically coloured clay and roll them up in to balls and line them up on a table. Then invite, 2, 4 or 10 children in to the room and say to them 'now children i want you to take a seat in the corner over there and watch me whilst I play with this clay'. haha.gif

'They would tie you up if they could in order to get to that clay. That's the effect that you, having the chance to create, has on the world of Source'.

I thought that was a fantastic analogy and just made me feel great about what we are doing here. I am going to read up on everything that Abraham/Hicks have done.

I think the most liberating thing about becoming an adult is feeling free to choose. I don't understand why anyone would waste any time blaming their early childhood for any unhappiness in their life today when they have the power to change it.

I think this can be a fun place, if we exercise our free will and take responsibility for creation.

I just started reading one book on the teachings of Abraham, and it spells out what I've always felt was true. It's nice to get that validation.

ghostdance.gif I'm having a blast thinking up new dreams to live!

Me too Loramars - I've started reading 'Money and the Law of Attraction' and it's taking me ages to read because I'm learning so much in such little time. Today I realised the importance of the buffer of time to my desires and before, where I felt frustrated about it it's really just a pause for the universe to say 'are you sure?' and for me to confirm a big yes, before things are delivered. smile.gif It's wonderful really!

Isn't that the coolest thing, Lisa-P? Even delays are working in your favor! Good reason to embrace them.

My little red flag goes up when I hear people rushing into things, like marriage. The reason the hurry sets off my internal alarm is because I know why they feel compelled to rush----because they know in their heart of hearts it's fleeting. I can almost predict that something is going to go wrong and the situation will not last.

When you feel patient about something, like there is no reason to hurry, it means you know it's going to be there as long as you want it to be. You might as well savor the moments and let things evolve in good time.

When I set my sights on something, and the opportunity evaporates, I think of it as Divine Intervention---the Universe knows better than I do what will move me toward the greatest happiness. I don't question it. I just trust that there is something better coming along soon.

Life rocks! yeah.gif
