Full Version: Full Bodied Solid Apparition at Shiloh

I mentioned a few days back in one of the threads here that I went to Shiloh where a two day bloody skirmish happened between the Union and the Confederates. The pictures I took were in the daytime. I have gotten permission to go at night anytime as long as I email the head park ranger. It was exciting to look around at the grounds where history took place. Very sad that so many lost their lives. Even more sad to me was where they buried those that died on the spot in mass graves. The government left the Confederates in the mass graves as well as the Union, but later they moved the Union soldiers to a respectful cemetery. I walked the grounds where the usual tourists and history buffs walked, but I like to walk the places where others rarely go. Found a lot of markers and monuments in the woods that most people don't take the time to look for and see. Around the Sunken Road, and the Hornet's Nest where a large part of the skirmishes took place, I was out in the woods taking random pictures. I'm sure if anyone heard me asking permission to take pictures while looking around me when there wasn't anyone in physical 'live' bodies, they would have thought I was short one of a six pack. LOL But I was alone. I have captured with cameras a variety of paranormal evidence, but this is the first time I've ever captured in graphic a full bodied solid apparition/spirit. The pic I'm posting here has only been resized to a smaller version and lightened. I know what I see, and I hope you can see it too. To me, there is no doubt whatsoever what I have captured. I hope the site here doesn't make it smaller where it might distort it, but here is, to me, and exciting paranormal evidence in a picture to share with you.

Thank you for looking!

To my eyes it looks like a form standing between the trees and a horse behind them. character71.gif

That does look like a very interesting picture, I'd love4.gif to take a look there myself! Cool.

Thanks for replying AlisClan and Sarah. I always keep the original picture untouched. In case anyone wants to know, if you save your pictures as a *.jpg, copying and pasting overtime will diminish the quality. An option would be to save it as another extension in graphic. I have some other pictures I took. I will share a few when I get some time to upload them to photobucket. Right now, I'm painting the family room, as well as working out in the yard/gardens with my husband.

Wanted to ask a question of our Ohio paranormal investigators here. I'm always careful of not looking to hard for anything that looks like a face or figure, etc. I believe some have called it matrix. Our mind has a way of trying to make sense of something that isn't straight out clear, for instance, looking at a design in a panel and if you look at it long enough, you find the face or whatever in it. Kind of like looking at the clouds and seeing animals or whatever in it. I'm always careful not to do that, and if the 'capture' is clear enough in the picture that it's right there in your face without having to try to make something of it, then that 'to me' is a high percentage, definite possibility of it being ranked as paranormal. I take a large number of pictures, and I notice a lot don't have anything in it except the expected subjects of whatever I'm taking pictures of. However, there are some that show clear enough small areas in the graphic that shows what looks like faces...again I do not try hard to 'make something look like this or that'. There were two pictures that had a blue mist on the ground. One looked as though it must have just started forming, the next picture had certain numerous parts of the graphic that faces show up. It doesn't happen continuously on every graphic, only occasionally. In a place like Shiloh, I noticed in some pictures the 'faces' were saturated in them.

Since I have had quite a few pictures I've taken over the years that have more then just usual possible orbs, I believe that it's spirit still coming through, yet most likely some don't have enough energy to 'show themselves' in my pictures like others.

finally...the question.... Have you taken pictures where it shows parts in your pictures where it looks like spirit faces? It happens just often enough to make me realize that this is something to be considered instead of just leaving it as something not to be acknowledged.

I know that when we are able to capture spirit in pictures, it is the spirit that decides whether they want to be seen or not.

I really love4.gif hunting/investigating and I keep the skeptic intact when trying to decide what is or isn't.
You really need to do this. :-) I'm just rambling my thoughts now about this area.

I wanted to mention that when I was downloading all of the pictures to my computer, and began fine-tooth combing the pictures. As I looked at all of those 'faces', and finding the confederate soldier, the room was comfortable, but while looking at these, it suddenly got very cold all around me. Now what do you think that could have been. LOL Really not a question here, I believe that a visit was happening of a presence around me.

I will be going on a dusk to night visit back to Shiloh in the near future. My plans are also to head down to Corinth, Mississippi where more skirmishes were.

I'll share whatever I might get after the visits. I still have my evp(s) to share with you, but haven't figured how to post them here for you. Any ideas?

Again, thank you for your thoughts and comments on the picture I've posted here.

Happy hunting!

I don't know much about photography, I am still trying to decide what camera to buy...lol. But I love4.gif looking at pictures especially of historic places. I would love4.gif to look at your pictures. I can't wait to see your pics from your dusk to night visit. character71.gif

Cool pic Bravy smile.gif

Cool picture and can't wait to see more.

Usually when I am taking pictures, I take them when I see or feel something. It makes it alot easier when reviewing the pictures and trying to determine if there is anything in them.

Breat pic, Bravy:)

Hope you get the painting finished soon and get to spend more time online! smile.gif

I'll post some of the pictures within the next few days. Some of them I won't unless you like looking at lots of empty land. heh

Thank you all for viewing and commenting here. I'll post some pics of what I was asking about re: lots of faces showing up in smaller ways besides the full bodied solid spirit.

I'm glad you enjoyed looking at my picture.

Mouse, I definitely take pictures when I sense something. Sometimes I just 'know' where to take pictures even without feeling the cold or hot spots, being touched, seeing something, or hearing anything. I have the sense also of knowing without knowing why or what, etc. I just do it. flower.gif
I took a lot of pictures at Shiloh since we were in a place that's part of history. Thanks for telling me what you do so you won't have to go through loads of pics.

How can I share my evps with the group??

I have a lot of rooms to paint this Spring and Summer. Antique white/cream is/was getting very tiresome to look at. I'm doing the colors mostly in outdoor colors. I love4.gif the outdoors, so might as well bring it inside. ;-)

Wow, I totally missed this post. That is so neat! I think I see another one to the right of that one.
bravynn
thank you KarenS

*bumping this up in case anyone else missed this*

There were some questions I asked in the original beginning message about capturing faces with the camera, where a spirit probably didn't have enough energy to appear that wasn't commented on. Has anyone taken pictures where you can plainly see what looks like faces???...and you can tell it isn't the 'seeing animals in the clouds' thing where your mind tries to make something of a design, etc.

The full solid bodied soldier spirit apparently had enough energy to appear. Please give me your ideas on the question I asked, especially Mouse and Alis, since you two are active paranormal investigators as well. thanks!

I think it is quite hard to capture actual faces that are not hidden and/or distorted. My best shot is the Maple Hill cemetery photo, I will bump it up.

Thanks for the reply Ady! I just finished looking at your soldier in the pic you bumped up. Something Alis said answered my question also.

I knew you had been checking out orbs recently, but I didn't know you had captured your soldier pic. cheer2.gif

Hard to overlook 'faces' when they are saturated and you don't have to strain to make something of them. They just ARE. :-)
