I just wanted to share these recent experiences.My house usually seems to be brimming with spiritual activity. I sense spirit all around most of the time. But sometimes they let themselves be known loud and clear.
I had several occasions of hearing heavy footsteps in the back hallway of my house, to the point that I thought my husband had come home... and also I heard upstairs what sounded like a child's footsteps running from my oldest son's room and going down the hallway..... of course when these incidents happened there was no one there and my children were out at the time or napping...
So I accepted this to be spirit activity. I never thought to tell my mother about these incidents( I guess because things like this happen all the time in my house, lol. )
My mother (sophie here on PI) was babysitting my children one weekend when my husband and I went away for 2 days, and she mentioned to me these exact same incidents of the footsteps. Heavy footsteps in the back hallways and child running footsteps upstairs... She was shocked to learn that I had also heard these too prior to that. I only heard those footsteps once after she had experienced them.
But a few nights ago, I was upstairs laying down with my son trying to get him to sleep, and I heard heavy footsteps in the hallway. Sounded like a man walking all the way down the hallway to the master bedroom. At first I thought it was hubby, but then I heard him fumbling around downstairs. I got up to check and the other 2 children were sleeping. This gave me a creepy feeling. It definetly is not a "familiar" spirit but friendly nonetheless I am sure.
It just always makes me wonder why spirit tries to make us aware of their presence??? Especially if they are unfamiliar. IE: I am sure it wasn't my dad or one of my grampies.....or someone that I would know. Soooooo why do they want to make sure they are noticed?
Anyways, Just thought I would share this. I found it interesting that the spirits presented themselves to my mother in the same way they had to me.
