Just a few strange coincidences. You may recall these well discussed spirit photos near the monument of a person I'd never heard of until Ady and I visited Chickamauga together. It is a monument to Captain Peyton H. Colquitt who was mortally wounded at the very spot where they built this monument.
My great-great-grandfather was an infantryman in the 61st Alabama which became part of Battle's Brigade. Just in the last week I discovered that the brigade he fought in was organized in part by Cullen A. Battle and this this man Colquitt. My Great great grandfather also fought in Chickamauga at the same time Colquitt was killed.
I recently had sent out some emails from Scotland looking for a point to purchase grappa made by my family. The email I received back today with the purchase information was from a man in England who's name is also Colquitt. Probably just coincidences but then sometimes spirit has a way of trying to get us to take notice. As another strange bit, the email I received is dated on the same date of his death as listed on his grave, Sept 21, 143 years to the day the Colquitt died.
Maybe when we're in Chickamauga the next couple of weeks we should have an impromptu reading near his monument and see if we get anything.
