Full Version: Was this a past life memory?

When I was 15 or so I went out to sit on my front porch to have a glass of water and try to calm down. I don't remember why I was worked up, but I was. As I was sitting there, feet wide, hands dangling between my knees holding the glass, I was focusing on nothing but the bricks of the stair. After some time, I started seeing a wagon train with many people around it, making their way across a field. Suddenly a tornado ripped through and completely destroyed all of the wagons and killed virtually everyone involved. I felt a sharp sensation in my chest and then pressure on my shoulder. I turned away from the image and saw my friend touching my shoulder saying I was really out of it and asking if I was okay. I didn't know what to say. I still don't.

I don't know if it was a past life, or just my over active imagination from being upset already. Any clues?

Okay, I gotta say that my title is freaking me out a little. I didn't notice it before I posted this, but I noticed it afterwards, before anyone else read this.
Adrienne
It's possible you were remembering a past life, sometimes it comes to us with startling clarity. It could also be that you were being shown something of one fo your spirit guide's lives. Either way, treasure that memory.

I am not understanding what you mean about your title freaking you out?

Just throwing out some ideas, but you also could have been seeing some kinda past event that had happened in that paticular area.

So you are saying that you were angry?

This is a form of meditation I use this all the time smile.gif I first learned it in lamaaz (sp?) but's it works fast to get your mind to the level in your subsconscious/conscious mind to see visions and receive messages from spirit.

I hope you don't get too confused with all the ideas on your situation. We can't be 100% sure of most things. I would go by your gut feeling on what this could be.

Do you remember which shoulder you felt pressure on?

With out having the above questions answered, I'm going to offer my own take on the situation and I believe this is a wonderful message.

I believe what you saw was a message from spirit regarding your emotions. Our anger (assuming you meant that when you were worked up) can be much like a tornado destroying everything in its path. It can destroy friendships it can destroy people in general. If the pressure was on left shoulder, this validates the message even further. I often feel pressure/slight pain in my left shoulder and arm when I'm communicating with spirit. The sharp sensation in your chest could have been your heart chakra (energy center) opening up to receive the message.

This is wonderful!! Have you experienced any other visions?

I think that it is a definite possibility, but you need to trust your own instincts on things like this.

Perhaps you should ask your guides to help you through dreamstate. Before you go to bed each night, ask that your guide(s) tell you whether that was a PL memory or not.

Or just ask for a particular sign from your guides. For instance, ask that if it IS a past life memory, to be shown a butterfly (or whatever other sign you want). If it is NOT a PL memory, ask them to show you something else.

Good ideal IdleWild, it might also help if you where to take a pen and paper to bed with you each night with the spicific purpose of recording any dream that might crop up. You'll be suprised at what you decide to tell yourself with enoungh practice.
Mouse
Very interesting. Don't forgot to also ask that you remember the dream too.

This has happened to me before. On the one year anniversary of the death of Jeff, I was sitting at the accident site and all of a sudden, it was like I was right there watching all the events that took place. I could see everything, all the cars that went by, the smells, the birds chirping. That wasn't pleasant to see at all but did ease my fears of what I was picturing of what happened before.
