As most of you know, I turned 40 last Friday. To celebrate, Jim and I took the 3 youngest kids away for the weekend to a holiday camp. I had been so busy travelling, unpacking etc, that I had half forgotten it was birthday. The second night, we were sat in the club, watching Melanie dancing to the show. A lady who had been sat next to us suddenly decided to leave and as she went she handed me a raffle ticket. There was no reason to do this, we hadn't even spoken before. As she left, I looked at the ticket, feeling puzzled as why she would give it to me. The number on it was 315. I was startled. My dad was in the army and when he was playing a game or raffle, he would put the last 3 digits of his army number on the back of the tickets. Yes, it was 315. He was showing me he was aware that it was a special time for me.
