I have only recently tried to contact my spirit guide(s) and ask for guidance or messages on occasion.
The other night I asked for guidance from my spirit guide in relation to an ongoing problem with my oldest son. He has been having many behaviour problems and aggression which seem to be getting worse. I wanted to know if there is anything I am overlooking, is there anything I can do to help him....

After asking this of my spirit guide, I heard a woman's voice say " just listen"....that is all she said.
Then I had a vision of a man--he has white shoulder length hair, it is very disshevelled looking hair. He is dressed in a plaid sports jacket, and otherwise that is all that stood out about him, except he looked like a typical "mad professor". I guess I have had professors in university that looked very similar, kind of eccentric and wild hair, but bordering on genious intellect.
In this vision he was standing in front of a chalkboard and he was tapping on the board as though he was trying to get my attention and get me to look at a certain word or whatever. I knew there were words on the chalkboard but I couldn't see them. And that was it.
It seems like I am being told that there is something I am not noticing, or need to focus on..... But what?????
I am unsure why these messages have to be so vague and obscure. I assume he knows I am confused and don't "get" the message. I feel he is very annoyed with me for my lack of understanding. And I am afraid to ask again, lol.

What I am wondering is, if anyone else has these types of problems when communicating with spirits. How can you ensure to get a clearer answer.
Is this common for spirit to communicate in symbols, images, riddles??
Thanks for any help character71.gif

I think this part of the message is very straightforward. I believe this mean to listen, really listen, to your son when he opens up to you. Suspend any preconceived notions you may have about what is troubling him. Listen to him with 'fresh' ears.

I don't think the message is that you aren't focusing. I feel that this scenario is presented to give you a glimpse of how your son feels when he attempts to communicate with others. Maybe his aggressiveness is partly frustration over not getting his message across.

The messages I receive are usually pretty straightforward.

Hope this helps! hug.gif

I agree with Aloha. I think the messages you've been given are absolutely what you were meant to recieve and you've understood them perfectly. The writing on the chalkboard being vague is just to point out that you are missing something. If you 'just listen' you'll figure it out and be closer to your son in the process. Our guides can't take over our lives for us and solve everything, they just guide! I think you've done wonderfully in interpreting such a message yourself, Sweet Serenity hug.gif

l agree with the others on this, depending what his age is, sometimes they can be emotional times, if he just a teenager neither man or boy, etc

Sounds like a school teacher, if you get this experiences again, ask him to paint a picture on the chalk board, or print the words again, but l believe you will have seen those words, placed in ur subconsicous, to bring forth at the right time,

some times they relay things in symbolic meanings and imagery, or even riddles

the point of developing is we are given a key to decode the message, sometimes its late in coming or its not the right time for you to know what happening, l would ask ur helpers to assist you better when you trying to understand, its a partnership you can only do what is relayed so its seeking the highest communication from spirit. but you do so very well, and that you are believing what you see, sense, hear. god bless skydancing xxxx cloud9.gif grouphugs.gif tinkerbell.gif redPIrocks.gif

I feel the same as Aloha. I work with toddlers and a lot of times, much of their aggressive behaviors can have a lot to do with their frustration levels, especially when it comes to trying to express their thoughts and feelings. Many times they have a large vocabulary, in regards to what they can take in, but it's much harder for them to try to find the words that fit with what they want to express.

That's coool.gif that you were able to connect with your guide. character71.gif 6.gif

Thank you all for your replies.
I am probably just too impatient lately to be able to see what the true message is without it being completely spelled out for me. And also I lack the confidence and experience with this sort of spirit communication, it is all new to me.

All of your impressions re the interpetation of these messages make sense to me. I think it helps to have another persons opinion on things like this that we aren't sure of. Thanks!

I agree with everyones analysis of your experience Sweet Serenity. As for worrying about whether you have received the message correctly etc, your confidence in that gets better with practice. You just need to focus on what you DID understand, rather than what you didn't

This was Gianna at that age. She would get very frustrated when her words and sentences didn't come out right. Then she would get upset because she knew what she wanted to say but it wasnt coming out for us to understand. We have her in speech therapy which has done wonders and has helped her behavior as well.

I am sure everything will work out and you are noticing things and will find out what's going on. hug.gif

Thanks Mouse. I am anxiously awaiting the doctors advice and hoping that things will all work out. I am happy that your daughter is doing better now hug.gif

I just thought I would update everyone on how the appointment with the pediatrician went. Apparently just from observing him the dr. could tell that he definetly has all the signs of ADHD. But he does not like to make a definitive diagnosis at his early age. We will follow up with the pediatrician for the next year and see how things go. Apparently alot of times these problems can improve in time, hopefully before school age.
We are hopeful with alot of patience and guidance he will improve.
At least now, I have something to work towards and I have received alot of advice on how to manage his behaviour and help him overcome this.

Hi there! chat.gif I have found with working with my guides that if I tell them that this particular situation I am dealing with - may hinder me from "seeing the forest thru the trees" that I need a CLEAR SIGN! LOL! I just flat out ask for a clear sign that is something I can understand and recognize immediately. SO far it has worked for me. Just ask and you shall receive. Tell them until you are clear on what signs mean what - give it to you "straight up" saythat.gif Keep it simple.

Hope that helps. I hope that the struggles you are having with your son are just temporary. I hear of so many children being diagnosed as ADHD these days. Have you tried researching Indigo children? Just a thought I wanted to pass along.

Thank you Mason Angel for your reply.
That is good advice to ask for a clear sign, I guess this is all new to me and I wasn't sure how much I could ask of them kwim? I didn't want to be needy, lol.

About your mention of indigo children, I have done some reading on the subject and I do strongly suspect that my son is an indigo. He definetly has alot of the characteristics. Thank you for bringing that up, it has been awhile since I have done any research on indigo children, and I now plan to look into that more.
Thanks hug.gif
