skydancing ~ I have a general time of day/night that I do the drawings if it's for a client or special reason. That way my Guides are available, as I do have one that assists me specifically with the drawing too. Then basically I am operating in somewhat a tracelike way. Sometimes more in trance than others. My breathing changes, and sometimes I yawn a lot. I - as Karen - only view it as myself scribbling. Strokes go here and there, and I am eratic on the color choosing. I do not decide what colors are used or what goes where. Often I am working in "bad lighting" anyway, so even if *I* was choosing the colors, I can't see too well to see the deveopment of the drawing's color. The chalks are all "dirty" from sitting in the box mixed together too. So, dark colored chalks kind of look the same to me when I pick them up.
Then throughout the drawing there is me smudging and wiping, and that allows me to see meaning in thew drawing by what stays and what goes, and how the stokes appear, and ultimately the colors. The images of people or things can appear early or late, and they change too. What I start with does not necessarily appear in the result. As I work, I am rotating the paper, and "recognizing" images, and then I do light accents to bring them out. Then eventually the strongest appear.
I don't have any physical sensations actually, nor do I feel my hand(s) being noticeably moved (sometimes I have used the opposite hand and *I* am a righty with drawing and writing) but I am aware that the drawing comes from Spirit. The Spirit Art is nothing the way I, as Karen, draw. I am so "anal" and critical about anything *I* do - which was something I had to learn to overcome early one when starting this years ago. I used to be critical of what Spirit would do through me, and I learned to humble myself LOL... plus when *I* draw, I like very precise lines, and pen & ink is my fav, which is quite a contrast to the Spirit Art which is colorful, and etheric looking.
Anyway, I don't know if this answers your questions or not. It's a process that is so distinctly different for me than any other art I do, and when clients get an in-person session, they are usually amazed at what they are watching. Obviously clients who are not present for their drawing/reading do not get that benefit of witnessing the process.
When I did Mouse's drawing, I did not do it with the awareness that's also needed for a reading. So, I asked my Guides to join with hers and convey a special ~image~ that she needed. I have done this many times for gifts, and also as Spirit Art for people who are ill. So, I only know that there is a lot of Goddess energy in this drawing, which Mouse needs, and there's a "sister" feel to it. (Not meaning sister as in one she has now.) I think the images are of an Angel and a Guide, however, possibly both are Angels. The one to the right is for healing purposes. Both females are her constant companions, and I gave Mouse the name I got for the one on the left. (I don't offer up the names of guides for others publicly sometimes, because I was taught years ago that offering the names of personal Guides, and especially elemental helpers, can be a detriment - this does not apply to all Guides or situations though.)
Anyway, I think I got too long winded - sorry! I need to keep this simple more often LOL - this is why THEY draw and not me!! I'd draw it to death and never be happy with the outcome.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words regarding this work. And I am so happy that Mouse

s her drawing:) I

it too, girl - and sure wish it was mine!
Many blessings,
Sanch
