Full Version: What do we all know about angels?

I just wondered if we could share knowledge about angels. I would love4.gif to learn more. Here is what I've read so far (and either believe or have experienced).

Everyone has a guardian angel assigned to them at the moment of conception, I think. This guardian (as with all angels) is completely non-judgemental and love4.gifs us unconditionally. They can communicate with us in many different ways, but because of karmic law they cannot affect our free will in any way. The moment we wish to make contact we open ourselves up to them and can therefore understand that they communicate with us all the time, that they are there to help, etc.

What angels would like is for us to spread the word to others that angels exist. They also love4.gif to be put to use, so we can ask that angels surround ill people, communicate messages of peace or help to send good vibes to destructive parts of the world, or situations.

A common gift from angels (or sign if you like) are white feathers. I have had a few experiences with these. I have asked to see them and this has been successful. I was talking to another girl and telling her to ask to see one. As she got up to leave the room, there was a tiny white feather (like a pillow one) on the carpet in front of us. If you read angel case studies the amount of white feather stories are remarkable.

Angels appear to people in different ways according to what the people expect - i.e
giant winged religious, no wings, robes, etc. No way is more right than the other.

when bad things happen to us, this doesn't mean that our angels have left us. This just means that we haven't seen the bigger picture of why this has happened to us yet. our angels are still watching over us, waiting for us to ask for their assistance to help ease the situation. They do not judge, or pass comment on our tragedies. They really are our constant companions.

What other info is there? What do you think? 6.gif

I often wonder if they ever take human form. If they do, my sister and I may have spoken to one. It's a long story, but pretty cool. I'll try to type it up tonight. Gotta help Mom with supper right now.

I think they do appear in human form, if you get hold of some case studies you'd see. They appear as strangers needing or offering help, and apparently their eyes are really out of this world - beautiful.

Here are my beliefs regarding Angels (and this is only what I believe)-

I believe that we all have many personal angels who are with us our whole lives. I do not believe that everyone has a gaurdian angel, but many gaurdian angels and they are distinctly different than spirit guides. I believe that angels have wings (although I do believe that they can appear without them) and also there are many different phylums of angels. Each phylum has their own color which appears on their wing tips so they can be identified. I believe that they definitley can appear in human form sometimes to help people on earth as I believe I have experienced that atleast once in my life- he had gorgeous blue eyes and was the kindest soul. Angels have never nor will they ever live earthly lives. They are the purest of spirits and do not have "lessons" to learn like we do, therefore there is no reason for them to incarnate. Each phylum of angel has their own "duties". I don't believe that Archangels have names and I do not believe that there are a specific number of Archangels. I believe that angels can communicate telepathically but you will not hear them speaking as you could a spirit guide.

So those are my beliefs regarding angels. butfly.gif butfly.gif butfly.gif

My Angel Story... Maybe. confused06.gif

My sister's husband was in France again for work. Every single time he had to go to France, my sister and her children would get sick. GUARANTEED. A few years ago he left for France and.. of course... they all got sick. Even when they were all well again, her son was going through the terrible THREE'S. biglol.gif (My nephew went through the terrible 3's, not 2's). Mom and I were watching Autumn (her daughter) at our house while my sister was out with Luke (her son). All I remember is she wanted us to meet her at Kmart while she picked up the children's new portraits there.

But there was obstacle after obstacle for Mom and I. We got locked out of the car, the house, and then we couldn't get the car seat to fasten correctly. And it was SUMMER, in TEXAS! weeping.gif (Just think of the fiery bowels of hell to imagine the heat that day). We finally decided something/someone just didn't want us leaving the house. But after that, everything finally worked out and we headed for Kmart.

At the store my mother left us to return a defective vhs tape. My sister and I and the kids were all together. My nephew was being moody again. My sister's nerves were very frazzled by now. Her children were so close in age and her husband was in another country again. Not to mention my sister gets stressed out easily anyway.

So we put the children in the basket and my nephew begins to fuss a bit. My sister begins to push the grocery basket when an old man walks up to us. He was wearing a denim shirt, khaki pants and red suspenders. He also wore glasses, was a little pudgy and was going bald. His eyes were a BEAUTIFUL blue color. The ENTIRE TIME he was there, I could not turn my gaze from his eyes. They were that beautiful. And keep in mind that I don't even like to look people that I personally know in the eye b/c I'm so self-conscious about people looking at me. I kept telling myself to stop staring at his eyes like some psycho, but I couldn't help myself.

The entire time, this old man reserved his attention only for my sister and my nephew. He told my sister that "children can be a lot of trouble, but that they're also a blessing." When my nephew began to fuss, he said, "Let me take care of that." Then he rubbed his hand over my nephew's back. My nephew looked up at the man and smiled. The old man then told my sister, "I put many a baby asleep like that." I can't recall what else he said, but I do remember that the last thing he did was look at my nephew and my niece, followed by telling my sister - "You've got 2 beautiful ones there." (Or something like that).

My sister and I both immediately suspected that he was no mere Grandpa. We weren't sure, but we both thought him to be an Angel. At least we thought it a strange possibility. We wished that Mom was with us to see him. We even had the insane thought of - "IF he was an Angel, did anyone else in this store see him?" biglol.gif

But here is where it gets WEIRD. I mean WEIRD.

That evening I sat in the living room, writing in the children's journal about the old man. It was late and I was ready for bed, but decided to take one last look at the portraits of the children that we picked up that day at Kmart. I could not believe how daft I had been. I looked at those pictures and noticed that the old man wore the EXACT SAME OUTFIT as my nephew did in the picture - minus the tiny stitched teddy bear on my nephew's collar. 10.gif

After my nephew's encounter with the man, he was behaving soooo well! The change in his behavior was amazing. I always joked that the change was the result of being "touched by an angel." biglol.gif

Anyway.... just last year Mom brought up something my sister and I have been thinking about ever since that one day at Kmart. She says that the way we describe the old man, it sounds like how Luke would look in old age. Blue eyes, balding (like his Grandpa), the tiniest bit "pudgy (like his Grandpa). She says the man could have been Luke's angel, spirit guide, or himself as an old man. Whoever he was, there's no doubt that he was there to comfort my sister during a very stressful time.

Personally, I have a hard time accepting 'Luke, the Time Traveler.' 10.gif But at the same time I can DEFINITELY see how my nephew would like that man once he reaches old age. But if that were true.... how come he ignored me? Me, his favorite aunt! biglol.gif

What do you all think?

I just remembered something else the old man/Angel said. It's always struck me as odd b/c I can't imagine an Angel talking like that. He told my sister that "children can be a lot of trouble," and then he followed my sister and continued - "They can be a lot of trouble, but they're also a blessing." He then said that he hates it when he hears about people abusing children. He said it makes him so mad he "could just chop their heads off!"

I COMPLETELY agree, and Mom tells me that she doesn't think it strange for an Angel to speak like that about people that invoke pain on others. She says Angels are messengers and defenders of humans, and in order to do their job they have to feel our feelings and the things we go through and see and hear about down here on Earth. They have to relate to us in order to understand us and help us.

Anyone else think what he said was strange - if he was an Angel, I mean.

I'm about 95% sure he wasn't just some nice Grandpa. Too many strange coincidences, and the outfit he wore matching the outfit my nephew wore in those portraits... well I think that's pretty unusual. I mean, what are the odds of that happening?

I have recently "met" one of my guardian angels whilst having healing. As I was being healed, I "saw" a different light to the usual, and gradually a silhoutte formed. I asked (in my head) "will you show yourself to me?" and this figure raised its wings. Wow! I knew instinctively that it was an angel, even though it didn't match the stereotypical angel in my mind.

A friend of mine who practices angel therapy suggested that I aks this angel their name. When I went to bed that night, I asked if the angel would come to me in a dream and tell me their name, and let me remember the dream. That night I dreamt that I got an email about a friend that I was worried about. She hadn't been in touch, wasn't answering phone calls or emails, and I was worried that she might have lost her baby. The email was telling me that Tracy and Guy were pleased to announce the birth of their baby, but the email was from Henrietta - I just "knew" that Henrietta was my angel and was telling me not to worry about my friend. A subsequent angel reading told me that Henrietta was my guardian angel responsible to comforting and nurturing me, and she's certainly done that several times since!

Whenever I'm having a sticky time with something, I ask for the angel of that activity to help me, and it always seems to make a difference. When others are going through a test of some kind, I ask the angels to be with them and help them, and they always remark on how much easier things were than they thought it would be. And when I work with practise clients for my course, the times when I ask the angels to be with me are always the times when I get the best results!

So, tune in to the angels - you might be surprised!

I havent read this entire thread yet, but I firmly believe that they can actually physically save our lives if needed..

Idlewild,

All I can say is wow.gif

IdleWild, that sounds awsome. For angels to come round to visit, they have to adopt human mannerisms and the such... He was only being honest about how he feels about the injustice.. Also, kinda old fashioned thinking there "Off with thier heads!" 1700's capital punishment.. Very "old time".. Kinda hints us into what era he might have lived in or favored the most in this world time line.
