Ok, I have some things I dont understand happening when I meditate.

An this doesn't happen everytime. Every now and then while I am sitting and meditating it feels as if the chair I am sitting in is slowly turning. Its goes to left sometimes and then again to the right other times. I Know it is not really moving on me because I have opened my eyes to find my self in my chair sitting excatley where I was when I started.

What is this? Is it suppose to happen that way? Need some help here to understand what is happening.

Thanks in advance

Daisy,

Are you grounding prior to meditation? There are many different methods of grounding such as imagining roots growing down from your feet or a cord from your root chakra attaching to the centre of the planet.

Select a method that appeals to you and see how it goes from there.

When Im concentraiting on Astral Projection I get this "I'm moving but Im not feeling" also. Could it also be that your astral is moving? I do that and feel like I'm turning over or sometimes shaking! But my body isnt moving an inch.

Aloha is right, grounding yourself might stop you from floating.

Since I started working graveyard shift about a year ago, I've started having astral projection experiences (which I attribute to my sleep patterns being disturbed) and as I begin to relax and drift, I sometimes get this sensation as well-spinning or rotating (like I'm in a swivel chair). Sometimes I also get "dropping" or "sinking" feelings prior to locking in to the state where I begin to project...

These are all very interesting sensations and part of the overall experience- and this applies to meditaion as well which is very much related to AP because it involves conscious control of your mindstate. If the spinning sensation is a problem, then yes... try grounding yourself a bit... OR go with the sensation and see what unfolds- perhaps a very enlightening experience is trying to take hold.

These feeling of the rotating does not scare me at all. AP is always something I wanted to be able to do. I guess I am getting there thru not controll of my own. I think I am going to just let it happen. It is an experience that totally excites me.
Thanks havehaunt. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
