Ya all remember the odd ball buffett attendant I work with? I have talked shortly with her in past threads. Shes special, and probley a touch mentally slow but she means well.

So she asked me how I feel about past lives not to long ago, and I told her that its something I believe in and I have seen some of my past lives before in short visions and dreams..

Not to long after that, she stopped and looked at me and said: I feel the need to talk about your past life. Im being bugged to tell you that in a past life you where a woman that had a huge house down south and you helped the slaves to freedom.

I kinda said Neat, and gave it a thought for a moment and thought "I dunno" but then agian, look at my love4.gif for my aunts Underground Railroad house and its history..Where does that love4.gif come from?

So that night I went to lay down to go to bed, I wasnt even thinking of it, and slowely a womans face came into view. She had a small face with big dark eyes, but I feel her hair was much lighter, bordering on blond. She had a huge lace hat on and a matching lace walking dress.. the color looked white.

I was quite shocked! LOL.

SO The next day I told Holly what I saw. The next few nights away, I was agian relaxing and slowely another vision came into view.. MY HOUSE! Now its in rambles and its broken down.. I saw it as it is now. I also get the feeling that it might be in Georgia. and some of it still stands.. 6.gif

Within the last 200ish years, my past lives seem to be awfully close together.. That is something Im sure of.. Or, Im here, back already? If I'm correct, Im on my 6th+ past life! Three of them within the past 200 years that is..

It so neat encountering past-lives like this. I don't seek past-life information anymore but when it comes spontaneously (like yours did) then I sit up and pay attention!

Ali, this woman (your past-life persona) may wish to speak to you now. I recommend trying the Campfire Meditation and listening to what she has to say.

That is very interesting and Aloha's suggestion is great to try the campfire meditation. I never give past lives a second thought, but if I had the experience you did, I would look into it further. Especially since Holly brought it up.

The hardest part of all of this is that down south, there wasnt much of the underground railroad to speak of, the majority of the people there was all for slavery. So finding where I was isnt to easy. I have a feeling any supporters in the south such as what I did was very secret.

Holly informed me also that I did own slaves durning that time, but I always kept familys together and normally, no one wanted to leave me. She said I even paid them in small ways for labor. She said I cared, but I was after all, southern born. It was something I had to accept.

Holly told me that shes quite gaullable at times, (so shes not sure whats her imangation and whats coming thru truely) but she said at one point of time I bought a new laborer and later found out that this person had family and set out and found the family and bought them also.

What a past week, I was so exausted the last few nights that when my eyes closed, I was OUT. LMAO! But Im going to be concentrating on a meeting at the campfire soon. Wish me luck! I want her/me to show me what happened and anything she might have to say. I also want her/me to show me where my house is..

"The South" covers a large area. In places like New Orleans and the port of Galveston that were trade centers, tobacco growing regions of Virginia, etc. there was a lot of emphasis on slavery as you would have emphasis on technology industries in certain areas now. The plantations in the agricultural South were like big factories for raising food and plant materials. Slaves that worked on these plantations were part of that huge process. Most people did not own lots of slaves, but were also born into that whole political system of indoctrination etc..

There were plenty of people who knew right from wrong, just as there are today. Each of those individuals made a choice, usually not to take on the whole "Establishment". Lots of ministers who were sympathetic to the rights of human beings were killed in lynchings when they even hinted slavery was wrong. It was a very ugly time. The Klan was rampant. Burning down homes of 'sympathizers' who were white along with the brutality against the slaves.

Many Christian women's groups were started who taught slaves to read, in secret from their husbands. Sometimes if found out, the husband had his home burned to the ground by the Klan as a "lesson" for not controlling his wife or daughter. It didn't matter if he was a Klansman himself.

There was an underground in the South, but because it operated in an area so embedded in and controlled by political forces, the best bets for saving the lives of slaves were escape to islands off the Eastern Shores or in a boat along the waterways, or moving toward Texas which was first a part of Mexico, then, a new country.

wow.gif very interesting and I can't wait to hear more of what you learn. At first, the description of the woman sounded like one of my ancestors, who was an activist to free the slaves and helped build the underground railroad, but she wasn't from the South. Tell us more! cloud9.gif

facinating story. thanks for sharing

Many people have honorable past life. Where equally there are people who have not so honorable past life. However nonetheless you will never learn something is wrong or thier view a certian instance till you have experienced it first hand.

Sounds a bit like my own ancestors, too. Just click on Update:
