Full Version: Found this meditation for aligning your chakras

I found this "Chakra Color Bath" the other day while looking for healing chakra meditations: http://healing.about.com/od/chakrameditate/a/chakrabath.htm

Can someone take a look at that and tell me if it is any good? I tried it yesterday. I don't know if there is a wrong or right way to do chakra meditations so I thought I would post this and get your opinions on it.

It looks good, I didn't know about the counterclockwise motion, I always thought you wanted your energy to flow clockwise to make sure there is no blockages. In the book Hands of Light, the author checks for blockages using a pendulum. She holds it over patient's chakras. If it moves counterclockwise then there is a blockage then she works with the energy and her intuition to unblock it and get it flowing in the right direction.

Hmmm, interesting. confused06.gif I find so much information from different sources can be so conflicting- it is hard to know what is right and what isn't! huh.gif

That's why trial-and-error approach is often necessary to finding the right set of meditation exercises for you. Check how you feel after doing a new meditation and that will be your decision on any particular meditation. There is no right or wrong (usually) just what works for each of us as individuals.
