Thank you Ali for letting me know about this documentary. I watched it last night and was soooo happy to see that Ramtha made it into the mainstream! It's the first I've seen him (in JZ Knight's body, of course) since 1987 when I attended his seminar in Chicago, in person! Yep, I was a member of the audience about 4 rows from the stage and I was blown away. Everything he said rang true to me. I've been testing the theories ever since, keeping a journal of thoughts and experiences that follow. The proof is in the pudding!
There are so many concepts brought to light in this movie. One, in particular, is that we affect each others consciousness. I've been saying this all along from my own experience and observations. What we feel about ourselves
influences what others think and feel about us. It's as if we control our own drama and only allow comments and actions from others that harmonize with what we feel we deserve. For example, if you don't like to be touched because someone in the past abused you with rough treatment or only touched you in a condescending way, and now you have this long-term habit of replaying that unpleasantness, people who want to hug you in a way that feels good will experience reluctance or aversion in your presence. They won't reach out to you like they do to others. That is because you dictate your own reality and no one can interfere with it.
Interaction is like a dance. When I take a step, the person dancing with me steps, too. We influence each other's movements according to our desires and needs. Either one of us can change the rhythm or direction just by wanting to. By desire, then, our partner changes in re-action. It's always by mutual desire, though. If either of us tires of the dance, we can separate and find others to dance with who harmonize with our new consciousness. We always have free will.
Another concept introduced in this movie was the repetition in our choices of relationship and job when there are so many other options available to us. We become addicted to our emotional patterns, and they do a great job of explaining the biochemistry involved, talking about peptides and receptor cells that become attached. We have the ability to change even the most ingrained habits of feeling, though, just by wanting to. Awareness is the first step to change! All we have to do is to stop focusing on the thoughts that trigger the habitual feelings.
That's what PI is about---changing our perceptions by contemplating new ideas that help us become more unlimited in the way we think and feel.
Life really is a blast once you understand the way it works.
What the Bleep Do We Know is a very entertaining education on how to change your thinking and your life for the better, if you want to. At the very least, you'll see what free will means and be inspired to use it to your advantage.
Thank you, Ali!
