friend of mine, had pasted a message few years ago in my old msn group, she was on about how to trust, she said she has to learn to trust herself first then spirit. l am pasting here my reply

what are your thoughts on this subject of trust when working with spirit. hugs sky xxx

Lot of us had this problem at our start of our path. You are so right we have to trust ourselves to give the message also our spirit friends who brings them through.
You are not on your own l did this at first, because l was allowing my own personal thoughts l was creating a barrier as they have to work with a still mind to allow spirit to impress their thoughts or words, or combining picture. When we get a message from spirit, our own minds has to step aside so to speak.

I like to call it the three W's

Who is spirit speaking;Why they are here; What is the importance of their message

We had this debate in our local church, the President of the church would ask us at our closed circle what do you think of the medium last night {tuesday}. I would say they are very good, she said linda, how can you say they was very good, when they did not really do a lot of messages...most of the message are not the best etc... I said if one message struck accord to the right person, the right spirit etc.. then it is a good medium. I would not judge another persons work... so l think l blotted my copybook there... I know people expectations are really high, but we can only do our very best.. Also if you have doubts, l would ask your spirit helper or guide, to assist you also to bring a closer connection with spirit.. Remembering that we are human, we all see things differently above all we are the vessel that the messages gets channelled, in saying this we can have our off days, we tired, we are emotional with our own lifes lessons or we are off colour like cold coming on...

Mediums cannot be 100% right, also sometimes we do get a bit unstuck when the sitter is unsure of the information, that they not sure they actually believe in spirit.. that will create the pattern of self doubt. Also remember we can work on two levels psychic, and the spirit level each valid for their own meaning.. psychic is what happening around them, more earth-based; spirit is something that spirit will only know about them and the sitter.. eg; how they passed away..personal information..

I have been working on this..(trust in spirit)...it is so easy to let doubt cloud your judgment, yet it can be so easy to just let it flow naturally..if you allow this.
I have also been taking the few minutes to thank the spirits and such when I ask for their help in situations just with my daily life in general..I have to admit it it makes me feel more relaxed and just a good feeling when I do this...you do feel more connected.

So maybe I am going in the right direction these days, its just baby-steps...
