IF we was asked why does some spirit d come through, when other spirit d ones do not communicate for years or ever.

here is the following reasons

Spirit d one may not realise or accept that they have passed to spirit

Sitter strong desire to speak to a certain d one can be a barrier: because, spirit can come through via another person, ( example, two spirit, find out from each other, that one of them is communicating with lovedones via medium, which may trigger a wish that certain person to communicate

d one in spirit is getting on with their new life in spirit world, knows you respect their wish to carry on their new life, not feel that need to speak to them (sitter).

Communicating with medium has to be learnt by Spirit, not all can do this, properly.

Some spirit d ones can go to certain mediums, that they can connect their energies, together

This a brief, thoughts on why our d ones do not come through though we have a strong wish that they do,

Also spirit do not realise that years have passed by, time is different in the spirit world.

I think your list is very comprehensive, you've pretty much covered it.

I do wonder about family members that person may not have liked, perhaps they simply didn't like that person and feel no desire to communicate.

This is a good list. I also heard that there are different levels for spirits and sometimes that is a reason why it might take so long for communication from them. And what about reincarnating quickly could also be another reason.

I also wonder if carrying a religious belief that "speaking to the dead" is wrong into the next world, may affect the persons wish to communicate?

l have changed my own personal thoughts on this subject. I do believe we died an earthly death, but we are still alive, in the spirit. l hope l make sense..
