What is your thoughts on this...please?..

When a d one dies and passes to the other side, if they do not try and contact people here after a period of time, will it make it harder for them to try and make contact with us at a later time?, like the longer they wait the less they can contact us?

I am kind of confused about this, reason being...

I have heard and read that the spirit world has no time zone as we do...like time is not important to them like us...if that is so, then if time isnt so important to them it shouldnt matter if they are gone a day or year, if they want to make contact it shouldnt matter how long they have been gone?
Am I understanding this wrong?

Again this is making me wonder because I read...the longer a spirit is gone(passed-over) the harder it is for them to try and contact us and they may not be able to do it after a while?

Any thoughts on this?...

mbo, I don't know if this helps or not but when my dad passed away I saw him a couple times and then there was a couple years of nothing, but now every once in awhile I get a sign, I know he's here and he sends my mom signs too she just isn't of a mind set to believe it.

See there thats what I mean Sarah...I believe if a spirit wants to communicate or just let you know they are around you they can do this at anytime, there is no set time they have to be able to do this.

There is no set time limit. I have heard from my Grandad who passed in 1945, also my own dad who passed in 1992. Time doesn't make it harder for contact to be established, because the spirit remains constant.

There are so many factors involved with a successful communication: we may have had evidence from a d one, but not recognised it, therefore convincing ourselves that the d one does not want to make contact.

when a d one passes through the other side, there is several reason for not speaking to us,
generally, for some spirit beings, d ones.. they will learn to adapt to spirit life... if they wish to communicate, first or later in their life in spirit world, it always up to those in spirit world.. l always said we ruled by clocks not the spirit world.. Then again, l think if there a great need for one spirit to give a message, it will be the right time- right place- for the right reason.. l also say talk to spirit, or d one, when their memory comes to mind, as l am sure that they will be thinking of you.. There alway a saying *they are just a thought away* Sometimes we do miss somes signs that we may be thinking of them.. few days later or even that day, a favourite song is played.. ask spirit to give you a sign that they have heard your thoughts... l am sure your d ones will send you a message...

I thought about this a lot, too. There's so much conflicting info out there, but I do now realize that they can contact us whenever they want, even many, many years they've passed. My dad died in '71, and I got a big shout out from him on my last birthday, so I know he's still around.

I guess in a way it has been on my mind alot more since my mom passed, I think it is due to..when mom passed i could feel her around us alot, and for many days, it was wonderful.
But now she seems to be fading a bit, kind of like she has her own things she needs to do, oh I know she is watching over us and such, she just feels more distant now than before.

I am just happy I got the pleasure of knowing/feeling she was so close to us before(when passing and such)...being present when my mom passed is something I have never experienced before in this life-time, it was mixed feeling, but as I look back, it was also a beautiful experience, I treasure being part of that...

It does happen when our d one comes around us quite a few times, l like to think that it gives us comfort, while we grieve for them, as we miss the psychical being, we learn to accpt them as a spirit being still mum (dad, brother sister child). With my fathers passing two weeks ago approx, l know he is ok, prior to him taking ill. l was worried how l would cope with him gone... I had a dream which it was like seeing the future, in the dream it was six months since he passed.. l was walking along, l had the vision of my dad, though years younger.. He said linda you going to be ok. Now that he has passed, in his sleep, with no pain, we was not there as he had passed, but l visited him in the chapel of rest, he looked just asleep.. I would like to know that he and others keeping an eye out for all the family.. I also like him to be happy with his mum and dad and alll siblings etc, meeting all the people that he knew etc.. wonder if they have a big party for new arrivals in the spirit world... lol...I wish him here in a heartbeat, but not how he looked and were on the day he passed.. but whole and happy xx how l miss him, so very much.. one thing l know that when l told him l d him, he said l know .. last words he spoken to me, a week before...

I have many times thought about asking this.
I know my Gramps took his time but dang when he wants us to know he is around and heard our requests to know so...he sure brings out the old spice LOL

Ya know a few days after I posted this i also got to thinking, and I am a bit red in the face cause really the answer to my own question was here right in my face..LOL

I thought back many months to when my mom got diagnosed with cancer and i remember seeing a woman coming thru to me really urgent and I didnt know for-sure who this woman was, well here it was my mother's mom(my grandmother) whom I never met in real life, (she died when my mom was 1-2 years old)but only once several years ago seen a pic of her, and this was the woman coming thru to me, here it was my mom's mother, and she was trying to get my attention due to my mom's cancer at that time, she hung around for a few months then just sort of backed away, but that just answered this question, ...

"Can spirits/loved ones contact you after a long period of time after passing over?"......Yep they can!..
