sky, I thank you sooo much. I do feel that the meanings you have given relate very well. The drawings are beautiful. I will try my best to remember my totem animals. I am in the process of reading what is probably a children's level book called The World Before This One. And it is telling native american stories. I think this is the first time I've read any book about native americans, other than having to read what little was written in our history text books. So this is good timing. It fits well into my ancestry. I'm 1/8th Cherokee.
Thank auntmama, l now understand why you have two spirit totem animal, as it is their belief that we have two.. My teaching spirit helper is cherokee, Silver cloud... l have seen him real after l painted him, it was at a spiritualist church service. It went like b/w the other people was there. but somehow as if time stopped, l looked to my right, there he was. He was looking ahead, l thought great, l seen someones helper lol. I spoken to the medium, what l have seen, she said because l seen him, it was up to me to accpt him as my helper. He had been to church, before, telling a healer, he was looking for his medium. The healer knew my friend and neighbour when she heard the healer say his name. In a phone call, she told me all about it.. In the painting his face seem to be overshadowed.. Shortly after these events, l was invited to join awareness/ development group at the church. Then the closed circle, where we would blend with spirit. Thank you for the memory of my friend Silver cloud, as he was say wa-do, thank you too for honouring your ancestry too... l can feel he is smiling at this..
god bless sky xxxx hugs xxxx l will ask for your mum xxx
