Even tho I am new I have to tell you all of when I saw my mom. My mom passed Dec 31st 2002 of lung cancer but had had several strokes and heart attacks. In Nov of 2005 I had had surgery on my ankle 2 weeks prior and was going in for another the next morning...I was laying on my couch on my back with my foot up on a cushion....I plain as day saw my mom standing in the hall way her hand on the wall the other on her hip...She wore a cantelope colored nightgown, she told me she was proud of the way we handled her passing, and she was with us still, she also went on to say I would be ok durning the next surgery the following morning, told me she would always me and she was gone....
I didn't see my mom the last week she was in the hospital, she told me not to come that she would call me daily...I talked to her the night before she passed and we laughed, we laughed hard... I didn't know she was going to pass.
After seeing her I had to call my dad right away...I was so happy to have seen her....my dad had seen and heard her several times so I had to share with him what had just happened.....When I told him what she had on I described it in detail to him an he went quiet...then said softly "babe I just bought her that gown 2 days before she passed" I felt happy, relieved and very d after seeing her...I haven't seen her since but have definately felt her presence, and smelled her perfume.
My dad and I are the only ones to have a visit....My sister used to get visits from my grandma and it scared her...my mom was aware of this and probaly just didn't want to scare my sister with a visit.

Aww that is wonderful that you got to recieve that message from your mom Zookeeper...makes ya feel so much better with dealing with her passing..

I havent got to see my mom since she passed a little over a month ago, but for some reason i dont feel the need to have to see her, I mean its ok if I dont, I know my mom is happy and doing good on the other side and I do know she watches over all of us always..I can feel her happiness radiating all around me, I have never experienced anything like that before..I miss my mom, prolly always will, but I feel good knowing and feeling what i do now..
