Ok, Not every night, but quite a few lately, when I lay down to close my eyes to go to sleep and relax, I get glimpses of a lions face, then the lions eyes.

Does anyone know what that could mean??

Aren't lion's associated with the astrological sign Leo? Ahh they are.. Maybe if you look at the personality of a Leo you could gain more insight.

Interesting! When I was reading that, actually looking at the picture, the words strength came to mind. I think when the lion came to me was when I was struggling to keep from crumbling under all the stress.

Interesting because in Tarot, the Strength card also has a lion depicted on it. To me it means Learning Compassion. and facing your fears so that you can evolve and grow into a stronger person. It's about expressing unconditional and understanding not just for others but for yourself as well.
